Senior Sales Executive

Who we're looking for?

As a Senior Sales Executive at Thinkerbell Labs, you will help drive revenue and deployments for Annie and any future products we innovate by winning institutional deals (Schools, Government Departments, NGOs, CSR Programs) and ensuring post-sales adoption.

What you will be doing?

If you're hired for this role, you will be taking up the following responsibilities among others::

  • Pipeline & Prospecting: Map your territory (Govt., CSR, NGOs, special schools, foundations). Generate leads via outreach, events, references, and partners.
  • Consultative Selling: Run discovery with principals, education dept. officials, and CSR heads, tailor proposals, impact narratives, and implementation plans.
  • Demos & Pilots: Conduct product demos (onsite/virtual), run pilots, gather feedback, and convert to paid deployments.
  • Bids & Commercials: Prepare proposals, respond to RFPs/tenders, negotiate pricing & terms, and close. (GeM/e-procurement experience preferred).
  • Stakeholder Management: Build multi-level relationships (SCERT/SSA officials, school admins, NGO program managers, CSR decision-makers).
  • Post-Sales Activation: Coordinate delivery, installations, and teacher training with Operations; track usage to hit adoption targets.
  • Collections & Compliance: Ensure timely invoicing/documentation and payment collection, maintain deal hygiene in CRM.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM data (stages, forecasts), deliver weekly/monthly MIS on pipeline, wins, risks, and actions.
  • Market Intelligence: Share insights on policy, grants, CSR priorities, and competitors to refine GTM and pricing.
  • Partner Motion (if applicable): Recruit, enable, and manage distributors/implementation partners; run joint plans.
  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Identify, design, develop & execute strategic initiatives, outreach models, partner-led expansion, and revenue diversification models. Provide recommendations on project sustainability and scalability, aligning with both social impact and organisational growth.
  • Government Sales & CSR Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with bureaucrats, senior officials, PSU CSR heads, and NGO partners. Design lead generation efforts pertaining to government sales. Lead the complete sales cycle — from prospecting (through networks, warm connections, and outreach) to implementation. Onboard NGOs and ecosystem partners to strengthen CSR proposals and consortium-led bids.
  • Process, Compliance & Documentation: Establish robust SOPs for PSU CSR and government sales to ensure transparency and compliance. Draft proposals, MoUs, RFPs etc. Oversee operations on the GeM portal, ensuring the organization adheres to documentation protocols while maintaining leverage in government contracts. Maintain strong reporting mechanisms to keep internal and external stakeholders aligned.
What you'll need to bring to the table?
  • 2–4 years in B2B/Institutional/B2G sales ( CSR/Govt, social impact preferred).
  • Hands-on exposure to Govt. sales, CSR funding cycles, and NGOs/foundations — e.g, prospecting and closing with state education departments, navigating CSR grant processes (proposal → due diligence → MoU → disbursal), and managing NGO program stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of closing multi-stakeholder deals and navigating procurement (incl. tenders/RFPs, GeM familiarity a strong plus).
  • Excellent communication & storytelling, ability to craft impact and outcomes-driven proposals.
  • Strong ownership, negotiation, and objection handling, comfort with 50–70% travel.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), Google Workspace/MS Office, solid Excel skills.
  • Deep understanding of government hierarchies, government sales, processes, funding mechanisms and protocols at the centre, state and district levels.
  • Strong networking, relationship management skills and research skills.
  • Excellent communication — able to engage with senior officials and grassroots stakeholders alike.
  • Process orientation with proven ability to draft contracts, RFPs, and MoUs.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of designing initiatives that drive both impact and revenue.
  • Fluency in English plus Hindi or a major regional language.
Good to have:
  • Experience running training or school implementations.
  • Knowledge of assistive tech or special education.
  • Existing relationships with state education bodies, CSR heads, or leading NGOs.
